Providence is full of history and charm. I really feel as if I’ve only scratched the surface of all there is to discover in this area. Today, I wanted to share a sneak peak of 3 places with you guys. I have been to all of these places, but need to schedule an actual tour to learn all about the history and details of these beautiful buildings.

#1.-  The Rhode Island State House. This building is iconic to Providence. Here is a sneak peak of the inside:

#2.- The Providence Biltmore. This building is stunning on the outside and inside!

This Hotel has a Starbucks and a McCormick & Schmick’s in the Lobby, as well as a Spa, and almost 300 guest rooms. They also are known for throwing some really rad weddings. You can check them out here: http://www.providencebiltmore.com/

#3.- The RISD Fleet Library. Located in the heart of Providence this is a great resource!

This library provides hours of reading and inspiration. I love sitting here and gazing out the window overlooking downtown Providence. You can check out their website here: http://library.risd.edu/

I love being a tourist in my own town, it’s a great way to escape and feel like I’m somewhere else.
