I Heart New York

New York City has always overwhelmed me. So many people, congested traffic, loud streets, cold weather, and it’s expensive. I mean I could go on…

But this time, it was different. This time, I actually fell in love with New York City.

The journey started by taking the Amtrak into Penn Station. While waiting to board the train I met a super lovely lady, “Katie”. She was on her way to NYC to celebrate her birthday. After talking for a few minutes we realized we had a lot in common! The first thing I noticed was how fashionably dressed she was. I mean, polished from head-to-toe. Here she is in Central Park wearing Seven Jeans, Shuku New York, Dolce&Gabbana, Urban Outfitters, and Steve Madden.

I was in NYC with one of my best friends in the world, “Ryne”. He is one of the most stylish people I have ever met in my life! His taste in fashion is impeccable– he inspires me! Here he is in front of Central Park wearing Dior shoes, a Louis Vuitton bag, Topman sweater, and a peacoat from Burberry.

We were so lucky to have gotten such a gorgeous fall day in NYC.

Shopping in NYC was an awesome experience. Everyone is dressed to impress and the stores leave you in awe and wanting it all. Although this time, just being inspired by it all felt enough. I will say, Bergdorf Goodman totally impressed me.

Unfortunately, I my iPhone got stolen in NYC and I was left to venture through the city solo without a phone. Honestly, it was one of the most amazing things that could’ve happened to me. I was that much more aware of my surroundings and felt present. I stopped to admire the buildings, talk to people, and sit in the subway without any distractions but my own thoughts.

The Pennsylvania Station, Penn for short, is a gorgeous place. This is where the busyness of NYC really hits you when you stand back and watch it happen. It gets almost 500,000 commuters everyday!

If you’ve never traveled through train, I highly recommend it! It is one of the most meditative forms of travel.

Thank you New York City for showing me a great time and reminding me to live in the moment. I can’t wait to be back and can’t wait to see what you have in store for me!

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone
and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just
so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and
she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know
a few of the pictures aren’t loading properly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.

I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
